Barn Collective #19

Camera in hand, the hubs and I headed out for short day-trip. Our destination was about an hour and a half away. I figured I might see some barns along the way, so I was prepared.

Sure enough, we found a couple. Today, I'm sharing this big old white treasure found in rural Southern Illinois:

This photo was taken two days before our big winter storm hit. I'd like to make it back up there and see it covered with 9 inches of show!

Do you like barns?  You can see more great photos of barns at The Barn Collective link-up featured at Rose Street Reflections.

  3. Nice horse barns! And yes, I love barns, maybe because I grew up with barns dotting the landscape.

this was so pretty......i grew up in farmland......although my folks didnt own one as we lived in the village. But many of my church friends were farmers.

  6. That is certainly a grand old barn! I like the overhang along the sides; don't see that often.
