Daybook: 12.08.14

FOR TODAY, MONDAY, DECEMBER 8th

Outside my window... cool and cloudy morn

I am thinking... of how God used a situation where I hit a deer in our last remaining vehicle and used it for good. Now I have a new vehicle, plus our old van was able to be fixed for less than $100.  Yes, $100 and it looks like nothing happened to it.

I am thankful... God helps me every time. Why worry?  (You can have His help, too, if you love God.  See Romans 8:28)

In the kitchen... homemade pizza tonight

I am wearing... tall black boots, dress jeans, black shirt and blue sweater

I am reading... "A Plain Death" by Amanda Flower

I am looking forward to... December 20, the day my Colorado kids are home.

Around the house... not much Christmas decor ... I need to work on that

I am pondering... Philippians 2

A favorite quote for today...

"Choosing not to forgive is choosing not to be forgiven"  Pastor Mike Turner

One of my favorite things... Hershey's kisses

A few plans for the rest of the week: make a Christmas banner and clean out the inbox at my home office

A peek into my day... celebrating the twins turning 6 months ...

Guess which team daddy likes?

  1. He is so AMAZING!!! So happy your deer situation turned out so well fo you.
Your grands are coming back?! whoot whoot! They are adorable in their black and gold! :)
You pastors quote hit dead on for me! This weekend I was struggling. I had a situation at work where I was holding a grudge. God kept telling me to let it go. FOrgive. My heart was heavy all weekend! This morning I came in, asked forgivness for my attitude, he wouldn't accept because he said I had a right to be angry with him. I explained to him I did not and that I couldn't have the joy of the Lord in my heart with all the anger I was holding for him. I have joy today and a good working relationship again. :) God is so good. :)
I can't believe the littles are 6 months old already! Time sure does fly.

  2. SO SO sweet! And yes...why worry when God has it all under control. Thanks so much for sharing here today, Jerralea.

  3. What cute little ones! They remind me of bumble bees. They remind me of my oldest son when he was a teenager and he was a fan of Stryper - a Christian rock band. They were all dressed in yellow and black. Have a great day.
