Daybook: 06.23.14

FOR TODAY, MONDAY, JUNE 23RD

Outside my window... actually, I've had little time to notice this morning!  We're forecast to have scattered showers.

I am thinking... I'm glad to be back to work.  I've totally enjoyed my time of holding my grandbabies and loving on them.  Since I still need to work for a living, though, I'm glad to get back on the ball.

I am thankful... for the opportunity I've had to visit my kids and grandkids.  It makes a mom feel good to see they are all doing so well.  I'm proud of my daughter and son-in-law who have taken to parenting like naturals!

In the kitchen... there is nothing going on.  I have to go get some groceries today since I've been out of town.

I am wearing... black tank dress, pink cardi and black sandals.

I am creating... an organized home AND office.  I'm hoping by the end of the week to continue my organizing of the storage cabinets at work.

I am going... to get more pics of Baylee and Brody printed out.

I am looking forward to... Christmas, because our kids and grandkids are planning to be home!

I am learning to take life one day at a time.

Around the house...some un-packing and laundry need to be done.

I am pondering... the goodness of God and the blessing of healthy beautiful twins.

A favorite quote for today... and ... One of my favorite things... coming home.  "Home is the comfiest place to be," said Winnie the Pooh.

A few plans for the rest of the week:  catching up on my to-do list

A peek into my day...

  2. Neat to look forward to a Christmas visit (which will be here before you know it, LOL :)

It is always good to get back into routines, even though we do like our time away, especially when that time included holding your precious grand babies.

  3. How precious those little ones are! I'm surprised you could tear yourself away from them! I too am usually glad to get back to routine after a time away. And then after a short time of routine, I'm ready to get away again. LOL. Have a lovely week.

  4. Hi Jerralea! Welcome back! Love those photos, the babies are so healthy, what a blessing! And isn't it a grace to look forward to work? LOL!

Your outfit sounds so cute and summery...and I hear you about getting organized. Seems like the older I get, the worse I am at it. That's not supposed to happen is it?
    Have a blessed Thursday :)
