Thankful for Freedom

Encouragementfordailybiblereading

I am so blessed!

Why was I so fortunate as to be born in the USA where I am free to worship as I would like?

Why was I so blessed as to be born into a home that had both a mom and a dad?

Why was I born healthy?

Why was I chosen to hear the gospel and have the Holy Spirit draw me to God?

I don't know, but I am thankful!  Every day there are blessings surrounding my life.  I need to be grateful for all that God has given me.

What better way than to give thanks?  All during the month of November, I will be sharing my gratitude for all God has given me. I'm joining Joyful Reader on her Giving Thanks Challenge at her blog, Encouragement for Daily Bible Reading.

Today, I'm thankful to have been born in the United States of America where we still have liberty.

What are you thankful for?

  1. Today I am thankful, and humbled, that our family has full fridge and cupboard.

  2. To Susanne: Oh yes! Having enough to eat should be a reason to praise the Creator every day!

Jerri, these are all great questions and it is a credit to anyone who can be thankful for each of them! Thanks for joining up!
