Daybook - 10.15.12

Outside my window...
43° right now but the forecast says sunny and in the low seventies.  Sounds like it's gong to be a perfect day!

I am thinking... about a wreck I saw last evening on my way to church.  I got there just as two people were loaded up into ambulances and driven away.  Someone said, "faith is believing the other vehicle stays on it's side of the line."  It's scary when you see evidence that it doesn't always work out that way!

I am thankful... for the leaves turning colors.  It is so gorgeous in my neck of the woods right now.  God is a masterful artist with fall foliage!

In the kitchen...pork chops today, maybe chicken and dumplings tomorrow ....

I am wearing... black jeans and black cami, colorful striped top.

I am creating... still working on my 31 Days of Encouragement Series

I am going... to enjoy this week.

I am looking forward to... a day trip with friends to see fall foliage.  We are hoping to schedule it for the end of the month.

I am pondering... scriptures to encourage

A favorite quote for today...

"I am the author of the life I live"  by Katie S. at her blog, Brighton Park, "Ten Tips to Maximizing your Time each Day
I am so in agreement. You are in control of the choices you make in life - what you choose influences your life story.

One of my favorite things...yellow mums

A few plans for the rest of the week: A busy week is ahead with a board meeting and a church bonfire/hayride.

A peek into my day...

We visited this lake and had bible study here a couple weeks ago.

The concept of Daybooks is a creation of Peggy Hostetler.  You can link up at her blog, The Simple Woman's Daybook.

A bonfire and hayride -- how fun! I love doing Bible study outdoors. It looks like your group found a beautiful spot.

Hi, Jerralea. Thank you for stopping by my blog, and for your kind words.

I love the quote you posted - "I am the author of the life I live." Beautiful, and so true.

I hope you enjoyed your Bible study outdoors. Fall is my favorite time of year!
