1. I'm having ... coffee with sugar-free French Vanilla creamer. I am trying to cut down on carbs, and I can't decide: is it better to use sugar-free creamers, or buy flavored coffees and use my regular half and half?
2. I'm feeling ... blessed! I have a good life and I'm thankful for it!
3. On my mind ... my solo at the upcoming Women's Retreat. I hope my voice doesn't crack! I am so looking forward to this retreat - I'm expecting that the Lord has something special for us.
4. A quotation to encourage ...
“Opportunity is missed by most people because it comes dressed in overalls and looks like work.” ~Thomas Edison

Oh, you can sing!!! Wow! I wish I could! I hope you have a beautiful time at the retreat.
ReplyDeleteFeeling blessed is a great blessing. Many people have a hard time finding that feeling. They just don't see how blessed they are.
Thank you for sharing your coffee time with us at Tea Talk. loved you mug and the quote you shared.
I appreciate your prayers for my host country, Thailand.
Keep that feeling all the time!
Hi, Jerralea! Wow, a singer! I can sing, mind you, but not in front of a microphone. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your Edison quote! I'm a very practical woman and that speaks to me perfectly today, and really, most days.
And, I see you have a college student (by your mug)? I have two attending our local community college, then it's off to work for one, and on to a 4-year school for the other. It's nice to still have them at home as they flex and spread their wings.
Have a blessed day!
Christine
Hi Jerralea! I would use flavored coffee and an organic/hormone-free half and half...read the ingredients on the half and half, some of them add oils. That non-dairy creamer (liquid or powdered) will kill you. Not kidding!
ReplyDeleteI love that Edison quote...work is something people have forgotten how to do in America, that or they think it's an evil to be avoided. We need more Edisons!
Blessings,
Lori
Grand post!!! I too like the quote by Edison. Have a wonderful day and even more wonderful weekend! Cathy
