Daybook - August 30,2011

FOR TODAY, TUESDAY, AUGUST 30

Outside my window
...a cooler summer morning.  Love those!

I am thankful...for my "new" home - and that the remodeling is done!

In the kitchen...ham and Hawaiian bread, deviled eggs and possibly a salad.

I am wearing... my black tank dress and purple short sleeved cardi.

I am going... to post this today even if it is late!

I am wondering...why people waste their lives trying to impress their "friends."

I am reading... "Promises to Keep" by Ann Tatlock.  I just got started but it seems interesting ...

I am hearing...the sound of the air conditioner.  I wonder how much longer we will have to run it?  It would be awesome if we had a couple months of good weather where we didn't need to run the air or the heat!

Around the house...every thing looks great - at least to me.  I hope I can keep it that way.

I am pondering...our discussion we had Sunday in our adult class.  The discussion was about seeds, planting, watering, even fertilizing before harvest.  A thought came to me - the plant has to die in order to have seeds.  Will there be "fruit" from any seeds I've planted after I'm gone?

One of my favorite things...worshiping.

A few plans for the rest of the week: a road trip for Labor Day!

Here is a picture for thought I am sharing...

Having friends over to play Rummikub is another one of my favorite things!
