The Simple Woman's Daybook - November 1, 2010

FOR TODAY, MONDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2010

Outside my window...darkness ... and soon daylight savings time will end and it will be even darker this time of day ...
I am thinking...about the next topic that I will be focusing on for bible study:  work!
I am thankful for...a job that I like.  I used to have one that I hated and dreaded every day ...
From the kitchen... I want to try Lisa Writes' "Santa Fe" soup this week ... maybe tonight.
I am wearing...gray slacks, burgundy top, black cardigan and shoes, burgundy necklace
I am creating... a bible study
I am going...to have a good week!
I am reading...nothing right now. I must go to the library today.
I am hoping... that God moves in the heart of the person I'm burdened for today.
I am hearing... praise songs in my spirit
Around the house... peace
One of my favorite things... candles burning.
A few plans for the rest of the week: board meeting tomorrow night, sometime this week I need to get out winter clothes.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing...

I thought I'd share another one of my youngest daughter, Malia's, senior pictures. We found those awesome shoes thrifting!

  3. "I am going...to have a good week"
Yes! Sometimes that is a decision we need to make. Even if it doesn't look likely. *grin*

  4. Oh my gosh! I NOTICED those awesome shoes BEFORE I read about them and my first thought was WHAT DARLING SHOES!!! Entirely TOO cute! I LOVE that picture!

So you're working on a Bible study now huh? You are something! I lead my adult class this past Sunday, and it went VERY well... however it did NOT go as I intended... but it DID go as HE intended! Pastor was very happy. I don't think I EVER want to lead a class where PASTOR is in attendance again!!! Ohhhhh I was sO nervous!

I too love the shoes and candle burning. I would love peace in my house but I don't see that happening anytime soon. :(
