The Simple Woman's Daybook - May 4, 2009

FOR TODAY, MAY 4th Edition...

Outside my window...

sunshine! And I thought the forecast said mostly cloudy.

I am thinking...

that this is such a wonderful time of year!

I am thankful for...

my kids being healthy.

From the kitchen...

spaghetti and garlic bread.

I am wearing...

black pinstripe pants, black shoes and accessories with a coral pink tunic.

I am creating...

order out of chaos. (This is my favorite answer and an on-going project!)

I am going...

to take a day off Wednesday. I'm so looking forward to it.

I am reading...

"The Painting" a book containing 4 novellas about a painting that is passed from generation to generation. It's pretty interesting ...

I am hoping...

to continue meeting my fitness goals.

I am hearing...

the tick-tock of the clock.

Around the house...

dusting and cleaning up my launch pad and desk. (OK, I didn't get it done last week!)

One of my favorite things...

checking things off my to-do list.

A few plans for the rest of the week:

tonight I'm visiting my daughter's church for a revival meeting, as I said Wednesday is a day off, and Saturday, we're taking my mother-in-law to Kentucky for a catfish dinner to celebrate Mother's Day.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...

My three chicas in their prom finery.
