It's Thursday! Time to reflect on what I'm thankful for today.
I was thinking yesterday about how thankful I was to have become part of the blogosphere. I am excited about all the people I meet and the ideas shared on blogs -- I have learned so much!
I count my blog as one of my greatest possessions. It is free, but I have to put some work into it. It's just a little blog right now, but it contains a lot of my thoughts, ideas, pictures, and recipes. It means a lot to me.
My dearest hope is that someone will visit my blog and see that I love the Lord. I hope to encourage and edify believers, and make non-believers consider Christ. If I can do that for just one person, I will be thrilled!
Thankful Thursday is hosted this month by Lynn at Spiritually Unequal Marriage. Visit her blog and see what others are thankful for this week.
Bless your heart sweetie, sweet post.
ReplyDeleteJerri, I feel exactly the same way. My friends who don't blog don't quite understand it, but I have been so spiritually uplifted by the articles that others have written on their blogs, and the friendships I have made. I'm glad to be getting to know you better!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting my blog..and I agree with you about posting on the blog. It is such a great way to journal the little tidbits that go on in our life plus give glory to GOD. How awesome is that? Mighty!
ReplyDeleteGod Bless.

Oh precious sister..what an absolutely beautiful post..Yes,,YES,,I see Jesus in you, and through your blog girl...((hugs)) Isn't this blog thingie the MOST!!!!!!! I started mine,,,well let's say God STARTED it,,,and I praise Him every day. October 20th was the day I started to blog and I can't count the times I have sat here just bawling over how thankful I am for His leading, directing me and encouraging me through sisters that He has lead into my path...I'm glad He brought me to you this day...
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about my blog. Isn't it great to encourage others? I especially love to be salt and light to people who don't have a personal realtionship with Jesus ...yet. I enjoyed visiting you and will come back. Thank you for visiting Heart Choices.
ReplyDeletejerri, my blog is one of my greatest possession too. it has my thoughts, my pains, happiness all in one pot.
ReplyDeleteGod bless your good heart now and always.
Your love for the Lord comes shining through the words of your blog like rays of sunshine, my friend!
ReplyDeleteBTW: You won the drawing for the Book of Prayer by Stormie Omartian.
Please email your mailing address and I will get it in the mail to you. Congratulations!!!
I have a friend that says her blog is for her kids. So that someday they can read the posts and receive advice on parenting, find recipes and just plain remember the fun times they have had as a family. She says it is her family journal.
ReplyDeleteShe also wants to show the world how Jesus has blessed all of her family!!
I love that thought that you two share. I must admit that I was selfish as to why I started blogging. I pray we all touch not just fellow believers but capture new hearts for the Lord.
