The Simple Woman's Daybook - January 19, 2009

FOR TODAY MONDAY, JANUARY 19, 2009 ...

Outside my window...

sunshine!

I am thinking...

of all that needs to be done this week.

I am thankful for...

the sweet presence of the Holy Spirit in our worship service last night.

From the kitchen...

Beef stew and cornbread, and praying for inspiration the rest of the week!

I am wearing...

Black jumper, black suede boots, purple suede jacket

I am creating...

new files for the year 2009. (OK, I know I'm getting a late start!)

I am going...

to a special prayer meeting tonight.

I am reading...

I'm still re-reading the Father Tim series by Jan Karon. I'm on book two ...

I am hoping...

to continually improve!

I am hearing...

a dog barking

Around the house...

laundry as usual, the refrigerator needs cleaning out, and I'm thinking of putting out my Valentine table decorations.

One of my favorite things...

personal emails. I love to hear from my friends!

A few plans for the rest of the week:

This is a busy week for me. I will be finishing up the annual report for one of my churches. Once that is done, I feel like I can enjoy life again!

Here is picture thought I am sharing...

This is my middle daughter, Janae, towering over me!

This picture was taken Mother's Day, 2007. It makes me think of Spring. I love Spring. Especially when it's 26 degrees outside, I really love Spring!

  2. I loved the Father Tim series and read it twice also. They're books you can linger over and take your time.

    Your daughter is beautiful!
