In honor of WFMW's Frugal Edition, I am reposting one of my earlier tips describing what may be one of the cheapest things I do! I've been thinking about it and I think this may cost me $3.90 for an entire year ...
Today's Work For Me Wednesday tip may be one you've heard before, but it's a frugal one that bears repeating.
After a shower, before drying off, I use baby oil. It's awesome! I just spread some on, towel off, and ooh-la-la, soft skin!
Seriously, baby oil is a cheap moisturizer -- I just use a store brand that costs $1.89 in my area -- and it lasts a long time. It also makes your tan look richer and seem to last longer. For a paleface like me, that's a bonus!
It works for me.

I just got out of the shower and slathered oil over my legs (especially soothing after shaving)! So, I second your emotion!
ReplyDeleteI used to do that and got out of the habit. Time to break out the baby oil again; thanks for the reminder! And about crock pots, I can never seem to get them together before work, either. As much as I love them, it's at night or never.
ReplyDeleteGood Ideal I will have to try it. Thanks
ReplyDeleteDo you feel greasy after you use it? I love the idea but I always think I am going to be a big greaseball afterwards!
ReplyDeleteCarrie
I am going to try this. My skin's started getting dry with the weather turning colder.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Great tip! Thanks. =)
ReplyDeleteI so agree about the baby oil. Have you tried Neutrogena sesame oil? I like that even better, and it smells heavenly. I don't use it on my face, but it's great on the skin especially after being outdoors all day.
ReplyDeleteBaby oil is also a great makeup remover! It's the only thing I use to take off my eye makeup, it even gets off stubborn mascara without having to rub too hard. And like you said, you can't beat the price. :)
