Praise Posts 2024 - Day 1

11 For his unfailing love toward those who fear him
is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth.
12 He has removed our sins as far from us
as the east is from the west.
 Psalm 103:11-12 NLT

Father,

I’m amazed at Your love for us – Your word says as high as the heavens above the earth; and I’ve never heard of anyone being able to discover the limits of the atmosphere!

But You go even farther – You remove sin from us to where it can never touch us again – because East never meets West.

We are so unworthy! Yet You never fail us. It’s a mystery to us humans. I doubt we can ever fathom it.

We are so grateful, so thankful. We praise You and honor You forever.

Lord, today I ask You to bless those of us who are struggling with finding answers. What do You want us to do? What is the best way to go about things? How can we motivate ourselves and others to fulfill our callings? You know the questions of our heart.

We don’t know the answers; but You do. Father, work out everything for good; because we love You and trust You.

In Jesus’ name, so be it, amen.

Welcome to Praise Posts 2024, a tradition that has been featured on the Journey every November since 2014.

Over the years, I've given my Lord praise for all sorts of things, big and small.

This year’s praise posts are going to be 10 days of prayers of gratitude based on scripture thanking God for the blessings I've enjoyed, and also available to every believer who has accepted Jesus as their personal Savior.

Join me, won't you?
