Ours was well used! I think eating breakfast and dinner together as a family is one of the most important things you can do.

I can echo your words... it really was a gentler, kinder time.carol danielshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15199172053416419162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1069784873554550905.post-78383839400924825712012-09-07T06:15:18.097-05:002012-09-07T06:15:18.097-05:00Those days were definitely different, they absolut...Those days were definitely different, they absolutely were a kinder and gentler time. Times have changed and not always for the better. I don't want to sound like a drama queen but society on a whole is on a decline and I agree with your readers, kids today should take a page out of our books, it would benefit them tremendously. Thanks for the memories!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1069784873554550905.post-67496726424235683712012-09-06T20:36:05.691-05:002012-09-06T20:36:05.691-05:00I really love your post, especially when you admit...I really love your post, especially when you admit that it wasn't a perfect world. StilI I was surprised to learn that some (most?) schools no longer teach cursive. I can't imagine the younger generations not knowing this but I guess one does not find the occasion to do much writing at all any more.Emily Cullen, http://www.mamasick.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03885825392690338423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1069784873554550905.post-22682946989441856972012-09-06T19:25:01.456-05:002012-09-06T19:25:01.456-05:00I sort of remember some of this.
