I'm with you. I couldn't wait to grow...Yep! I'm with you. I couldn't wait to grow up, move out, dye my hair purple, and do whatever the heck I wanted. Well, I never dyed my hair, and the rest wasn't nearly as exciting as I made it seem. God totally had a different plan for my life. I would never want to go back to the childhood I had, but living with my parents now would be a different story. In fact, that's what I wrote about. I ended up living with them again a couple years ago, and it was an amazing experience. Totally not what I expected, and thankful for how it turned out.Mimi Nhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16860967608697974293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1069784873554550905.post-20196948810533572642016-02-02T01:38:55.855-06:002016-02-02T01:38:55.855-06:00I was in a rush to grow up too! I think I was just...I was in a rush to grow up too! I think I was just always looking for affirmation that everything would turn out okay. I wish I could go back to that girl and tell her not to worry so much. I kid you not. How i loved it there....I played all through out the woods and on the trails my daddy made. My mother was always in such a good mood as we had our camp right down the road from all her relatives...in fact, right down the road from where she was born in a little wooden house. I never really daydreamed about being an adult except once i became a teen I could not WAIT to get away from my mother...long story there.....now of course, with the physical, emotional and spiritual growth I've gone through, my attitude about my mother has changed....and now I would love to have her back here on earth for one more hug, etc. Sigh......i'm teaching my own 2 daughters (yes i always wanted 2 little girls and God blessed me and Dave with my deepest wish) to embrace each and every moment...to not wish their life away. :) this was a great post!! A commercial came home for dust polish. I couldn't wait until I was hold enough to buy it myself and dust my own house (now dusting is one of my least favorite chores, LOL :) We do hurry to grow up don't we?

bettybettyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06323135450742337670noreply@blogger.com
