Let Your Words Out. Write.

WRITE

I'm a voracious reader but before I can read anything, someone has to write it!

Writing has been around a long long time.  Early writers used papyrus and quill shaped pens or reeds to set down their thoughts.  God wrote on tablets of stone and gave us the Ten Commandments that are with us to this day.  Jesus wrote in the dust with his finger and His words stopped an angry mob bent on death.

Words are powerful, and someone has to be the one to write them down.  It may as well be you!

Consider all the ways we need to write that perhaps does NOT mean a best selling book.  We write lists, love letters, instruction manuals and notes.  We write in checkbooks, in ledgers, calendars and scorecards. We write songs. poems and stories to uplift.  We write on forms and checklists and fill out medical histories. Notes during sermons, prayer lists, journals and diaries are other ways to use our words.

Writing is everywhere.

The most important thing we write may be legacies, wills and testimonies. Perhaps signing a card and scribbling a special message just might be the best thing ever written.

Writing a simple "I am sorry,"  or "I love you" could make all the difference in the world.

Whatever the words are in you, let them out.  Write.

STOP

Five Minute Friday

1. Write for 5 minutes flat – no editing, no over thinking, no backtracking.
2. Link back here and invite others to join in.
3. And then absolutely, no ifs, ands or buts about it, you need to visit the person who linked up before you & encourage them in their comments. Seriously. That is, like, the rule. And the fun. And the heart of this community..

Sounds like fun, yes?  If you want to join us, go to Lisa-Jo Baker.com.
