Daybook: 02.10.14

FOR TODAY, MONDAY, FEBRUARY 10TH

Outside my window... coldness, dreariness ...
I am thinking...that surely today we will find out the gender of our twin grandbabies.  Our daughter is visiting an ultrasound specialist this afternoon.
I am thankful... for my hubby of 38 years, and that we still make each other laugh - almost every day.
In the kitchen...spaghetti and garlic bread
I am wearing...dark brown dress pants, brown tank with metallic trim, red cardigan.  Oh and boots with two pairs of socks on!
I am reading...Shelly Shepard Gray's The Days of Redemption series.  I just finished book two.  It's pretty good!
I am looking forward to... spring ... along with everyone else, I think.
I am learning how important the Word is to me.  I love it more each day.
Around the house... I am gearing up to clean out the linen closet .... step one:  Have hubby bring in a Rubbermaid tote.  Check.
I am pondering... what Bro. Chapman said Sunday:  If God's Word does not return void, then speak the Word to your trouble and something has to happen!
A favorite quote for today... "Crankiness - the older I get, I see the ease in it!"  Rev. Ellston Chapman.
I just love Bro. Chapman.  He has so much wisdom.  We are blessed to have him attend our church.
One of my favorite things...eating out!  Bad for the pocketbook but good for the happiness factor!
A few plans for the rest of the week: getting some bookwork done for my part-time church, and watching lots of the Olympics.
A peek into my day:
